Fluorite mineral processing

In a fluorite mineral processing plant, in the grinding stage, the project adopts a two-stage grinding process, one stage of grinding adopts a lattice-type ball mill, and the second stage of grinding adopts an overflow-type ball mill.The fineness of the milled ore product -200 mesh accounts for 60%, and it is unstable. The final concentrate grade and recovery rate cannot achieve the desired effect, so the fineness of the mill needs to be improved.


Grinding fineness improvement method

In view of the ore properties of fluorite ore, studies have shown that on the basis of the existing first stage of grinding, appropriately reduce the amount of ore processed, strengthen the grinding, and adhere to fine grinding to achieve the effect of the second stage of grinding, the ball diameter ratio can be adjusted, and the area of the settlement area of the spiral classifier can be increased.

After the above improvements, the grinding fineness of the fluorite ore has reached -200 mesh, accounting for 75%, and the fineness of the discharge is stable, and the final concentrate grade and recovery rate have been effectively improved.In fact, in addition to the fineness of the grinding ore, factors such as the temperature of the slurry, the pH value of the slurry, and the selection of flotation agents will all affect the final sorting effect of fluorite ore. It is necessary to investigate and find out the problems one by one in order to solve them.
