Copper ore grinding is an important part of mineral processing. The hardness, wearability, and particle size of the ore are the basic parameters that affect the selection of the ball mill.Through the JK drop weight test, abrasion test and Bond ball mill work index test, the physical characteristics of the ore can be comprehensively understood, and the selection of the ball mill can be provided with a scientific basis.
2.Use the power consumption method to select the type
The power consumption method is a commonly used method in the selection of ball mills. It predicts the power required for grinding by calculating the unit energy consumption.Specifically, the unit energy consumption is first determined according to the nature of the ore and the expected processing capacity, then multiplied by the processing capacity to obtain the required power for grinding, and finally the appropriate mill size and motor specifications are selected according to the required power.
