How to conduct mineral processing tests and what specific steps are involved?

The small-scale process experiment in the laboratory is the basic experiment of the mineral processing process experiment. Generally, it starts from the small-scale experiment in the laboratory and gradually expands the scale. 1、 Research on the properties of raw ore

The research on the properties of raw ore mainly includes spectral analysis, multi-element analysis or total analysis, gold testing analysis, microscopic identification, phase analysis, particle size analysis, heavy liquid separation, determination of physical and mechanical properties of ore, and other necessary analytical research content.


2、 Experimental study on crushing and grinding process flow

The laboratory will conduct the following experiments and measurements in the year-end process flow experiment: power index measurement, grindability measurement, abrasion index test, self grinding medium performance test, ore washing and overflow treatment test, ore pre selection experimental research, grinding method and grinding flow experimental research, and grinding product analysis.


3、 Research on Mineral Processing Methods and Process Experiments

This section mainly includes the study of beneficiation methods, beneficiation condition experiments, beneficiation process structure experiments, recommended process flow, and analysis of beneficiation products. The selection condition test also includes: re selection, roasting magnetic separation, heavy medium beneficiation, electric separation, light sorting, comparative tests for the selection of main materials such as beneficiation reagents, fuels, and media.

a. Determine the number of selected segments


b. Exploring the reasonable frequency of scanning and selection operations to maximize concentrate grade and recovery rate


c. Identify the nature of the ore, determine a reasonable location for the return of the ore, and develop a separate treatment plan.


d. On the basis of sufficient unit condition tests, a comprehensive open circuit process condition test should be carried out. During the test, attention should be paid to the stability of the process and operating conditions, and the indicators should be reproducible.


e. On the basis of the open circuit process test, conduct a closed circuit process test.

At the same time, mineral processing agents should be used as little or no harmful agents to human health, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery, or pollutants to the environment.
